Landlord Tenant Disputes

The landlord tenant relationship can sometimes become fragile, giving rise to disputes.  George R. Valenzuela has experience in mediating solutions to landlord tenant problems as well as taking legal action through a court of law.  He has experience in:  evictions, tenant harassment, and habitability.

Estate Planning

It is crucial for individuals to plan for how their estate will pass to their intended beneficiaries upon death.  An estate plan is a set of documents created to nominate the person who will administer your estate at your death; nominate someone to make medical and financial decisions for you if you become incapacitated; nominate a guardian to care for your minor children; and avoid or reduce estate taxes. Both a Will and a Trust are documents created to ensure that your property passes to your intended beneficiaries at your death.  The major difference is that a Will is subject to probate and a Trust is not.  One very important exception is that there is typically no probate required when a married person gives their entire estate to their spouse.  Assets transferred to a Living Trust do not have to go through probate.

George R. Valenzuela, as your attorney, understands that all legal circumstances are unique and that the level of legal support needed can vary from case to case.
